Performance

The same V12 engine and 7 speed gearbox used in the stock California were retained, but both of them were refined, improving it in almost all categories.

Ferrari World Design Contest

The 2011 Ferrari World Design Contest was held for all university students who were tasked to create their concept of the future car and build 2D and 3D models of their dream car. The 3D models were built in 3D Autodesk Alias. Entrants to the contest submitted car designs with novel designs like hybrid engines which offer combinations of alternative power sources. The use of new car materials to optimize car weight and driving comfort were also conceived by the youthful designers who submitted creative body designs and elegant car forms.
Three major awards were given to the Hongkik University in Seoul, South Korea, IED in Azerbaijan and RCA in London, UK, whose students won the first, second and third prizes, respectively. Two special design awards were also given to the students of Hongkik University and the students of Jiangnan University in China. Officials of the Ferrari group conferred the awards to the winners.

Ferrari World Design Contest

The car industry was astounded by the results of the 2011 Ferrari World Design Contest which displayed the 1: 4 car models for the world to see. Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo was impressed by the passion and commitment that went into creation of the car models and hinted that some ideas from the contest might take form in future Ferrari models.

The 2012 Ferrari 458 Italia Grand Am is fast becoming known as the American version Ferrari. The 2011 Novitec Rosso Ferrari 458 Italia comes with a 4.5 liter V8 engine and 609 horse power at 9100 rpm. It can accommodate 135.3 horse power per liter with a top speed of 205 mph. Novitec Rosso comes with a high-performance exhaust system – the same one used for Formula 1 racing – allowing it to produce increased power.

The exhaust system is included to generate efficient exhaust flow through three tailpipes measuring 90 millimeters. This design not only improves overall power but is also heat resistant and incredibly light at less than 21 kilograms compared to a production exhaust.

The Ferrari 458 Italia now has an upgrade package made by the German luxury car refining company, WheelsandMore. With this upgrade, the Ferrari 458 Italia’s horsepower goes up from the standard 570 hp to 620 hp with an additional 100 lb of torque. With this amount of additional power, the 458 Italia can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.32 seconds.

The 2012 Ferrari FF is the successor of the 612 Scaglietti. This new model from the Ferrari Company is a four-seater, four-wheel drive car that is the most powerful and flexible car ever. FF is an acronym for Ferrari Four since it comes with four seats and is also a four-wheel drive car. The designer of the car was Pininfarina. The concept was that this car should be an unparalleled extreme sports car, has a high performance nature but with implausible flexibility, provides comfort and represent elegance. The design was ushered to provide unforgettable and unique driving experience.
Performance

The Ferrari FF 2012 is powered by a V12 direct injection 6,262 cc engine. It can deliver a power output as much as 660 horsepower and 800 rpm. The maximum torque the engine can produce is 503 lbs-ft at 6,000 rpm. From rest, this car can sprint to 60 mph within 3.7 seconds. The top speed it can reach is 208 mph.
The F1 gearbox which is a dual-clutch transaxle enables you to economized fuel by 15, 41/100 km or exactly equal to an emission of 360g/km of CO2. The car moves faster than the usual four-wheel drive system because the weight is 50% less. The electronic control system is very dynamic. Also, it has the newest damping system – the magnetorheological system (SCM3) and the latest discovery of brakes from Bembo –the carbon-ceramic brake.

The design of the front is inspired by the Italia 458 model. There is a rear hatch that is spacious and the style of the body is shooting brake–like. Four people can be comfortably accommodated together with their luggage because this supercar has ample cabin space. Even tall passengers will be comfortably accommodated since the front and rear measurements are 1.965 m and 1.85 m respectively.
The speed of the car, gear, and rpm are displayed in a dual screen that is 5-inch in size, a touch screen on the center dash and a third screen (optional) placed in the front of passengers. The exterior color can be personalized. The trim of the interior is extravagant and incorporated with carefully selected aniline leather that was treated.

Ferrari FF had already made its world’s first appearance at a motor show in Geneva. Some say that the introductory price would be around $700,000 but it is believed that it won’t be on the car market before 2012 ends.
The Competition
In terms of four door GT’s, the car can be compared to the following cars: the Mercedes-Benz CLS, Maserati Quattro Porte, the Porsche Panamera, and the Maserati Quattro Porte. But Ferrari is better when it comes to shooting-brake division. But people today don’t dwell on the same car market because each person has a personal preference of the brand and specifications. All the four door cars enumerated above have less power than Ferrari FF and are sold in a cheaper price. Above all, Ferrari FF is one of the best Ferraris. The name itself has a big impact on its prospective buyers.

Kahn design, founded by Afzal Kahn, has been customizing high-quality cars without sacrificing style since 1998. Kahn Design stands to deliver carefully designed projects.
The modified Audi Q7 features: 22-inch KAHN RS-X Wheels, KAHN Wide Arced Body Kit that includes vented front wings, and wears a Pear Soft White paint. The modifications on the interior include a seven-seater quilted leather seating & upholstery, Welcome Lights, Aluminum Foot Pedals, Kahn red and white speedometer, and tachometer. In addition, KAHN added Red and Cream Dials, and a Panoramic Glass Roof.
